Hi guys,
Hope u all had a gr8 Diwali this year. Last week was so hectic in preparing sweets. It took 2 days for me to decide what to make:). Thought of making milk sweets but my hubby hates milk and finally ended up by making traditional Indian sweets. All these sweets are my first try, by gods' grace it came out well.
Here you go,

6.Elachi powder-a pinch
7.Oil for frying
Method:
Mix besan flour with water to a thick batter. It should be like idli batter. In another pan make sugar syrup with 1 sting consistency(kambi patham). Now heat oil when hot using boondhi karandi slowly pour the batter and fry till yellow.Do not fry too much.Once the boondhi's are done.Mix it with the sugar syrup.Add elachi powder and ghee fried raisens.Mix well such that the bondhis are well soaked in syrup. Finally make them into laddus.
Asoka Halwa
Ingredients
1.Moong dhall-1 cup
