Mango pachadi

After a long time i am posting in my blog....feeling very lazy and my daughter keep me busy all the time.Hope i will post regularly in the future weeks:).I prepared this mango pachadi yesterday for tamil new year...It taste real awesome and goes well for sambhar and curd rice.
Ingredients
1.Mango-1
2.Jaggery powdered-1/2 cup
3.Red chilli-1
4.Mustard-1 tsp
5.Turmeric powder-a pinch
6.Salt
Method:
Remove the skin of the mango and cut it into small pieces.Now in a kadai put these pieces,add enough of water,a pinch of salt and close the lid.Let it cook for some time.In the mean time melt jaggery in a kadai by adding little water and let it boil for 5 mins.Once when it is done,filter it to remove the dirt.Once mangoes turn soft add this jaggery water to it.Cook for 10 time.Finally temper it with mustard seeds and red chilli.

Should the mango be green (raw) half-ripe or fully ripe? I would like to try making this.
